Diversity of Traditions / Beliefs

Have you ever been greeted (this word "greeted" seems laughable) by someone who was not of your faith and they immediately put up that wall of resentment, snobbery, annoyance, lack of interest, etc.? Sure you have - at least once - right!!!!! I know. There are, unfortunately many who believe that their way is the only way AND the best way to worship or hold onto a system of religious beliefs. It is indeed sad for them as most religions do hold firmly onto one tiny, sometimes rarely talked about - itsy, bitsy, teeeeeeeeny belief or notion that - we should all love one another.

If you were not discouraged by your religious pursuits so far in your life, then you would not be pouring through these words as you are now doing. I am both grateful and joyous that you are reading them AND I am also faced with the realization that what I say to you must and should be respectful to you and only with your best interests in mind. We at Caring HARTS are not here to waste your time, convince you to believe in a certain way or leave you clueless in the mist of a bunch of mumbo jumbo talk.

Our world is huge. No one would debate that (except for maybe a couple of people I know). Within our world are countries, within each country there are further boundaries or divisions and within them are yet more subdividing. The boundaries may be a mountain, a lake, a river, governmentally determined boundary line or even - a particular neighborhood. "Why is this important to talk about," you ask. The point is that each of us has grown up somewhere in this great world of ours. Later, we traveled here and there either on vacation, to land a new job or start a new life. While some may live right around the corner from their original family home, others have traveled hundreds or thousands of miles to arrive at a new and exciting destination. Once we decided on settling down, we find influences of all sorts - including religious influences. You had some religious upbringing as a child and it has been modified since that time in many ways (some of which you may have adopted but were not fully conscious of its impression).

At Caring HARTS, we want to be there for you and help you to further develop your religious thinking and celebrate special moments according to your faith. We recognize both the beauty and uniqueness of all the various world religions - both those of current day and those long forgotten in the pages of antiquity. Embracing history and acceptance of cultural diversity IS the position we hold. So whether you have personally adopted certain likes and traditions from the Catholic, Protestant, Lutheran, Morman or other Christian faiths, have found comfort in Buddhist, Islam or Judaism, or prefer a more Gothic, Pagan or ancient religion, etc., we will work with you. Customizing services as well as co-officiating services with other clergy, rabbis, military designates and others who you wish as a part of some event is perfectly acceptable.

Although all of the above sounds great and now you know how flexible we can be, let us wrap up with one condition. You knew that was coming, right? At Caring HARTS, we will not subject our ministers or other staff to events involving satanic or devil worship. We do not and will not cooperate in any activity which is deemed illegal by any federal, state, municipal or other law nor will we tempt fate with rituals designed to conjure up evil spirits - not even if you say that nothing will happen and that it is all in just having some fun. Our love for God makes no room for Satan worship or his followers. With that said to the possibly small fraction of people who may read this passage and have interests in those negative directions, we hope that our ministers will be able to serve your needs.
