As our population in this country has grown dramatically, gone are the days for most of falling in love and marrying their grade school sweetheart. Whether the reason be due to a divorce in the family bringing you to a new home, a relocation brought on by a job assignment from a parent or moving away to attend a college or university, couples are increasingly being exposed to new things and new possible mates. Here at Caring HARTS, we embrace different cultures and ways of life. Our doors are open to your ideas and desires to blend traditions from both families. We understand that you may want to include certain traditions into a ceermony (i.e. jumping the broom) for the benefit of elderly persons (parents, grandparents, etc) attending. Others have wishes to include rituals specific to where they were born, out of a particular religious text or book that is meaningful to one's childhood faith, etc. Our role in being there for your wedding day is to perform a legal wedding for you AND making the day loving, romantic and delightfully memorable AND to incorporate what is important to you both.

When you have your wedding performed by us, you will notice from the beginning that we respect you and your life style. You are on your own personal journey in life and somehow, some way, the two of you met, got to know one another, fall in love and learn how each is a worthy partner above all others. Your relationship is what we celebrate and rejoice in seeing moving to the stage of marriage. This is why your relationship deserves to be treated as special and not like a clone of the last five hundred marriage ceremonies performed.

We take great pride in treating you as a special couple - unlike anyone who has walked through our door. Our wedding packages provide the ability to select what you want us to deal with in putting together different components or you are welcome to make changes that suit you. When one stops and thinks about it, the different steps, components or rituals in a wedding service are each 2, 3, or perhaps 5 minutes in length. Add them up and you have yourself a ceremony. Typically, a ceremony lasts for about 35 minutes. Some of course can be made to be shorter if you prefer and others longer if you have more ideas to include. BUT, what happens during this time is what is truly inspiring and stimulating - because it is all about YOU. We give couples the ability to have as much or as little involvement in the process as they wish.

Adapting to their personal wishes, which includes adding your individual ideas, is what a marriage is all about - compromise. What better way is there to begin a marriage based on having couples agree and make concessions for the good of the relationship than to pick a minister who also is willing to agree to compromise and use your suggestions.
