Serving you and the departed with love, dignity and compassion
Just because a person has passed away does not mean that they are forgotten. Actually, it is quite the opposite. When one passes, it is true that there is no future with that person except for you joining them on the other side. BUT, while you are still here on earth, there is still a relationship that exists between you and the deceased person's spirit. The miraculous energy of LOVE extends beyond the grave and exists for an eternity.
Many cultures around the world turn to memorial services after the cremation or burial. These may be at 40 days after a death, a one year anniversary of the passing or other time period. Others choose to have a memorial on the departed person's birthday, their wedding anniversary or some other date that was important in the life of the person or couple or family. These are times when you are paying tribute to this person in a more meaningful way other than to simply put flowers on the grave and drive off to do another errund. Memorials pay tribute to this loving spirit that is still with you and is in your heart. It is your way of letting this person know that he / she is still remembered, still missed and stilled loved dearly.
The memorials can be structured to have videos present, pictures of the deceased when alive and testimonials read by family and friends, alike. There is a lot of flexibility in terms of where a memorial may take place. You may choose to have this done at the cemetery, at a local restaurant, a banquet facility, a favorite place in a park, at your home or whatever feels right and you believe the deceased would have liked. We are completely flexible in coming to your choice destination spot - indoors or out. Formal or informal, spiritual, civil or religious, prayers or testimonials only - your format is acceptable to us. Making this time in your life for remembering and paying honor to this loved one is the main priority.
