Besides home and business blessings, there are many other situations in life that suggest that a blessing be performed. The most important thing to remember about a blessing is what it is intended to accomplish. A blessing is conducted to resolve an issue, eliminate negative energies and create a more peaceful and loving existence. The blessing cleanses and gives the opportunity for beginning over in a now positive way - you get a fresh start.
Blessings may be performed for expectant mothers who wish for the health and well being of the new baby. In today's era, one often assumes that a delivery is an automatic. There are never "automatics" when it comes to conceiving a child and bringing that child to full term. Many mothers feel that the special blessing we do helps them gain peace of mind and confidence that all will be fine during a pregnancy. Moms and dads of teenagers who are just receiving a drivers license, look to us for conducting a prayer and service on not only the child but the vehicle as well to bring that child safely home after each day and journey on the roads of life. In fact, cars, trucks, RVs, SUVs, motorcycles and other passenger vehicles all benefit from blessings as do aircraft and boats. Now for some, this last mentioning may sound silly or foolish. If you regard the vehicle as just a bunch of molded metal or plastic then this is understandable. However, experience and belief systems around the world view all things as being connected, having come from somewhere and having an energy, personality and spirit unto itself. I'm sure you ahve recalled at least one occasion of hearing someone refer to his car as "she". Pets also experience great benefit from blessings - dogs especially seem to understand what is happening and respond positively. So whether you are talking about a land parcel, farm, home, boat, business enterprise or the conception of new life, there is a spirit and connection to it, you and your family. Keeping you all in balanced harmony is the goal of blessings.
