Having a Summer of Love, Passion & Romance

As warmer weather quickly approaches, we also find our passions heating up and Up and UP. So what are you going to do about this??? Will it be another summer like last year - dull, uninteresting, etc. or WILL IT BE wildly exciting and filled with fun, love and just that right hint of romance in the air? An old saying suggests that if you repeat the same things over and over, you'll get the same results. This, of course, is great when you figure out the right things to do in life to be satisfied BUT, what about those situations or circumstances which seem impossible to change or improve upon? What then?

The answer to possessing a better single life rests in a simple answer: You Change. That sounds really wonderful, BUT, BUT, BUT, what if you don't like that idea of change, you think you don't need to change and actually - maybe you find the whole idea to be personally insulting. How dare I suggest that you change who you are!!! You're right. That would be insulting and certainly not the intent of this article. Instead, we are referring to changing the course of your future by including some new activities and ways to have fun and a love life that YOU find fulfilling. So how does one do that without acting like someone totally different - EASY. We begin by taking a real hard look at ourselves and what are interests include.

Assessing one's interests is only half the task at hand. The next part involves the honesty to decide if you are enjoying what you like, trying to be involved or are you hiding. For the person who is trying to have a better love life, get more dates, enjoy more activities with a significant other, the choice becomes choosing another mate if the current one is not satifying or (often times) making some minor adjustments to begin having a good time. This may be as simple as smiling more, dressing more casually, being more agreeable or whatever you find that when looking in the mirror you honestly believe could use some improvement. Try out being the person you know you can be and discover that a better world IS waiting to embrace you and members of the opposite sex will find you more appealing to be around and spend time with.

For individuals who hide from a social life, one has to take that first step (even if a small one) and gently introduce yourself to a new and more interesting life. What have you always wanted to do or become a part of???? This is a time to move from the sidelines of life watching others at the safe distance and favor a more direct involvement.

But, now it is time that we come back to our original topic of having a summer of more love, passion and romance in it. These feelings will come to those who follow their own personal journey. Deep inside yourself, you know who you are and what you like AND ALSO what you want out of life including the right person to have as a mate. Let yourself be freed from that which is burdening you or preventing you from growing. Cut that rope that holds you. Only then will you be able to explore and have a happier outlook. Only then can you welcome others into your life with enthusiasm. Only then will others recognize you as a person who is confidently walking his / her own walk. On your journey, your current mate or a new one will then see your unique greatness and be attracted to you. When this happens, the passion is strong, the love develops into a stronger foundation and romance becomes a natural and unforced part of your life. Good Luck!!!!
